Each & every CLRC under Rural and Urban Areas are operated by some designated officials , for example , CPC , Shikshabandhu, Dy. magistrate etc.
In partial modification of all previous order NO. 679-SE(Pry.)/ SSA-6/2002 dated 18th July 2007, 30-SE (Pry)/SSA-6/2002 dated 13.1.2004 and No. 759-SE(Pry) /SSA-6/2002 dated 8.9.2003 the guideline for operation of CLRC Bank account have been made as follows:
i) In case of partly urban and partly rural circle, or purely rural circle, CLRC Bank account will be operated jointly by Block Development Officer of concerned block, Circle Project Coordinator (CPC) of concerned circle and Shiksha Bandhu for transaction beyond Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) and for transaction upto Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) the account will be operated under joint signature of Circle Project Coordinator (CPC) and Shiksha Bandhu of concerned
CLRC.
ii) In case of purely urban circle the bank account will be operated jointly by one Dy. Magistrate as nominated by the concerned District Magistrate, Circle Project Coordinator (CPC) of concerned circle and Shiksha Bandhu for transaction beyond Rs.
10,000/-(Rupees Ten thousand only). Such bank account will be operated by Circle Project Coordinator (CPC) and Shiksha Bandhu of concerned circle for transaction upto Rupees 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only).
iii) In case of circle where Shiksha Bandhus have not been appointed, the CLRC bank account will be operated by the Sub Inspector of School (SI) in the capacity of Circle Project Coordinator (CPC) in respect of transaction upto Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) both in Rural and Urban areas. For transaction above Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only)the said bank account will be operated jointly by CPC and Block Development Officer in case of Rural areas and CPC and One Dy. Magistrate as nominated by the concerned District Magistrate in case of urban areas.
